Returned from Italy

 I have returned from my holiday in Italy. We have a holiday retreat in Italy and we go there whenever we need to get away from the world for a while.

Before I left for Italy I wrote down a list of things to do. They included pictures, videos, going to the beach, climbing a mountain and other things.

I didn't complete the list. The one thing I didn't do was plant a tree but that was because the countryside is full of them and where would I plant one? That and my parents said now wasn't the best time.

I took my Mum to go with me on top of a mountain and I even convinced my Mum to join me to walk up footpaths so that we can take pictures of the views and she felt inspired by this. I am happy about it, shows I can influence people.

I also had a lot of fun eating the fine meals in Italy. I love arrosticini its full of flavour and they give you plenty to eat.

My University, My carer and My Gmail.

Yesterday, I was told I didn't need to go to the Campus for the rest of the week and I thought this was a warm-up induction to the University and the real learning starts next week. Combine this with no events happening today, I thought I could relax, go walking the dogs with my carer coming tomorrow and spend some time with my parents. Turns out not to be the case, my carer coming today was less than enthusiastic about what I like to do with the carers in future occurrences, and that included walking the dogs. What was worse was that my parents still had not sorted out their washing machine. The problem started a couple of weeks ago when a mouse chewed up one of the cables and caused the entire system to go haywire. After three visits from the electrician/plumber, it was decided the washing machine was a lost cause and my parents would have to get another one.
